Boon Roses, formally known as C. & A. Boon & Sons, has had a company name change to include the third generation family members who now work in our family business, who wish to pursue a career in horticulture, so that the current directors can help to make it their business in the future.

Our business is a family owned and operated rose growing business for the cut flower trade. All our roses are grown in a hydroponics’ system all in 5 hectares of glasshouses which are environmentally controlled for the production of roses all year round, which is controlled by a highly technical computer system.

We have an Integrated Pest Management Program in place, there by minimizing the use of chemicals. This helps us produce a better quality rose with minimum pesticide residue and a stronger rose for our customers to enjoy. This also creates a healthier environment for all.

We endeavor to keep abreast of all new varieties, and always have new rose varieties on trial in our nurseries. We trial these new varieties to look for characteristics such as vase life, disease resistance, and production. We are always searching for new technologies to help us produce our roses as efficiently as possible.
